Projects

A poster job involves dozens of decisions: final size, paper, DPI, margins, overlap, bleed, marks, print and export settings. A project saves all of them so reopening the job later reproduces it exactly.

What gets saved

• Poster dimensions
• Tile layout (rows, columns, manual offsets if used)
• Paper size and orientation
• Output DPI
• Margins, overlap and bleed values
• Label and mark settings
• Print settings (printer selection, quality, copies)
• Export settings

What doesn’t get saved

Your source image itself stays wherever you keep it - the project references it rather than embedding it. Keep source files alongside their projects.

When projects help

• Reprints - a poster sells better than expected; regenerate identical tiles months later in seconds.
• Iterations - adjust margins or overlap without rebuilding every setting from scratch.
• Multiple destinations - one project, exported for a shop and printed locally with different settings.

Projects pair naturally with export: save once, then choose per-run whether tiles go to the printer or to disk.
