Export

Printing immediately isn’t the only way to finish a poster. Export produces the same full-resolution tiles as files, generated locally from your original image.

Formats

• PNG - lossless, ideal for line art and flat color
• JPEG - smaller files for photographic content
• TIFF - where supported, for print-shop workflows

What an export contains

A typical export is a ZIP package with:

poster.zip
├── A1.png … D3.png      (tiles in label order)
├── assembly-map.png     (where every sheet belongs)
└── instructions.txt     (size, paper, overlap, trim guidance)

The assembly map is the puzzle box lid: a small diagram showing the complete grid and each tile’s label, so anyone can assemble the result without guessing.

Why export instead of print?

• Print shops - hand over a self-contained package instead of explaining a custom job.
• Other machines - generate on your PC, print elsewhere.
• Later - export now, print when materials arrive.

Exported tiles carry the same physical accuracy as printed ones - dimensions, overlap and marks are identical. Combine with projects to regenerate any time.
